San Francisco, California

The sun shines brightly on the Golden Gate Bridge, as I take my bike out for a ride. I start to climb the steep hill, engines of sweat and determination fired up; the bridge looms before me. The wind howls through the cables, the city looms in the distance - but the ultimate goal is in sight.

The bikes beneath me hum with excitement as the incline grows steeper, the rhythm of the chain links beating out a rhythm across the bridge. Anticipation rises with each rotation of my wheels, until I crest the top and see what lies ahead - a sprawling vista of ocean and shoreline, cityscape and land beyond.

The feeling of euphoria is nearly overwhelming; what a view! There is no better way to experience San Francisco. I am blessed with this moment of unspeakable beauty and joy. My bike carries me onward, taking me further, into this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
